Monday Motivation- Get to Writing!

"There comes a point in your life when you need to stop reading other people's books and write your own." ~~Albert Einstein
It's hard to argue with the genius, right? Although, I would still encourage plenty of reading. Writers have to read other fiction to learn styles and how stories are structured in their genre. Learn the common tropes.
And, don't just read fiction. Load your shelves with books about the writing craft and publishing.
You just have to balance time to write as well. Reading and self-study is great. You do have to eventually implement what you learn into your own writing. Trial and error. See what works for you and your style and what doesn't. It takes time and practice but it's worth it in the end.
If you have a story to tell, don't be afraid to tell it.
